Cinco de Mayo 2014 - Ole'

Cinco de Mayo and not much change on the ice cover. The water channel has narrowed a little. Larry and Linda have circled the lake a few times, but they need more open water. Surprised that Pierre and Corine have not made an appearance?

The repairman cometh but withouteth the proper part to get the refrigerator running once again. He should return tomorrow with what looks like a mother board. Auntie Arnie granted us permission to stay for the repair.

FYI: today is not all about Margaritas and guacamole. (that was Wednesday at Alki Beach Cactus).
Cinco de Mayo, or the fifth of Mayo commemorates the Mexican army’s 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War (1861-1867).
