We Beat Spring

Spring is but a few days away. Summer and the 3 of us have arrived. Our trip was to assess possible winter damage and start sun tans. The forecast for Monday is an unbelievable 79 degrees.
Yay!
Here we are in Northern Minnesota trying to cool off the Sugar Shack to a comfortable sleeping temperature. Poor Uncle Sam and Aunt Marion sit in sixty degree weather in Palm Springs. Who'd a thunk?

Lovin' the Lunch

No Perkins, no problem.  You can always count a great lunch at Marrakesh Country Clubhouse with Grammie and Bapa.

Now off to the races or actually Polo Club.

Beautiful as always sunshiny day for a polo match.

Okay, can't fool Becky for long. No champagne anywhere to be found. - She will soon learn that it is not the right day for a polo match. Keep on searching Becky and Grammie. Bapa and I will just wait right here.

Orange Ya Glad You Have That Tree

Just a few steps outside of the condo our good picker Becky keeps us well supplied in fresh oranges.

And Her Cupboards "Were" Bare

No more bare cupboards and empty icebox, aka refrigerator for Grammie.  Not when Becky is shopping with Mother in Palm Desert.  Truth be known: not a Perkins to be found!

New Year's Day Cruise

Mr. Kyle took us on a blustery, but fun New Year's Day cruise. Thank you, Mr. Kyle, for fun at sea and on the island! Little Master O had not yet grown his sea legs and took a nasty fall. He left the vessel with bruises on his face to prove it.

British Transplants

Blake and Alex our British transplants. So many fond memories with Julie and the boys back in Jolly Old England.  A much better place for them BTW than their new Belvue, Washington home.
