Nana's Poker Buddy
Who would have imagined Nana's poker buddy to be hanging on the wall in a High Point Market furniture showroom? He is the one in the middle BTW.
We always knew that my great-grandfather rented some of his Bald Eagle summer cottages to Chicago gangsters one summer. The FBI file mentions my Nana, Harriet Trask was a poker buddy of Dillenger one summer. Go figure.

Rain Runner
Good omen rainbow overhead.
So proud of Oliver! He ran with rain in his face and on his glasses. Running all the way with flying shoelaces.
Yay Oliver! Number One.

Snow Goose Ice Cream
Aunt Marion told us the Snow Goose is a must stop for the very best ice cream in the world..
The one hour long queue was definitely worth the wait.
Katherine found her favorite flavors.
Yum.
Lovely drive up to LaConner to visit Aunt Marion and Uncle Sam.
Our tulip viewing was a little early for their season. The yellow daffodil fields were ready for us though.
